New Zinc Anodes

New Zinc Plating Anodes Bring Major Electro Plating Benefits

A new design of zinc plating anode, has been launched by Brock Metal.

Offering more even dissipation, consistent wear rates and stable bath chemistry, the new TrilobeTM shape replaces the traditional oval shape anode familiar to Brock's electro plating customers. The design developments create a greater surface area and produce reduced bath turbulence. They are available from stock for immediate despatch.

Manufactured using SHG zinc which complies with EN 1179, and with all anodes certified to the current BS 2656 1978, the new anodes feature all the metal quality and traceability characteristics that Brock Metal has built its reputation upon.

Available from stock in a range of six lengths between 300mm and 1140mm, the anodes are sold by weight and the weights of respective anodes are as follows:

300mm (12")          ≈ 5kg                           760mm (30")                ≈ 13kg

460mm (18")          ≈ 8kg                           915mm (36")                ≈ 16kg

610mm (24")          ≈ 10kg                         1140mm (45")              ≈ 18kg

Each anode is supplied with a 3/8" BSW or metric equivalent tapped hole for suspension from the plant racking system with all the anodes available off the shelf. Other lengths/weights are available on request.
